Did you know that EPO recently launched a new free data visualisation service that allows you to explore global technology trends and connections between them?
With a simple interface it is possible to select data for countries and/or up to 35 technology fields, and choose from four different chart types to display. Results can be shared or downloaded instantly.
For instance, you can get a visualization of a ten-year patenting trend for different technologies. Or dive into all 38 EPO member states individually and see the technology distributions in the most recent years, and the top 10 applicants from each country.
