Joni Sayeler has a Masters degree in physics from Linköping University, specialising in microcomputers and medical technology. He worked at the Swedish Patent and Registration Office from 1996 until 2000, as a patent examiner and educator in the unit for electrical power, electronics and medical technology. Joni is responsible for marketing and finances at Uppdragshuset.

Sofie Wikström studied electrotechnology at the Royal Institute of Technology, specialising in learning systems. During 2001 Sofie worked at The Swedish Institute of Computer Science, SICS. During the years 2002-2004 she worked at the Swedish Patent and Registration Office, as patent examiner in the unit for communication electronics, encryption and medical devices.

Linus Wretblad graduated in technical physics and electrotechnology from Linköping. He has also studied microelectronics for a year at the Université Joseph Fourier in Grenoble. He worked at the Swedish Patent and Registration Office from 1996 until 2000, where his roles included patent examiner and work with external education in the unit for telecommunications computing and electronics. Linus is responsible for branding strategies at Uppdragshuset.

Lena Malmgren graduated in electrotechnology specialising in medical technology from the Royal Institute of Technology. After graduating, she worked at the Kransell & Wennborg patent agency. She worked at PRV InterPat in the period 2005-2006 as information specialist, where her responsibilities included competitive surveillance services.

Anders Olsson graduated in electrotechnology specialising in wireless systems from the Royal Institute of Technology. He worked at the Swedish Patent and Registration Office from 2008 until 2010, as patent examiner in the unit for telecommunication, specialising in radio communication. Anders has worked also as a consultant in electricity distribution at the consultancy company Sweco Energuide AB (2006-2008).

Lars Henriksson graduated in electrical engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology. After graduating, he worked at the Swedish Patent and Registration Office as a patent examiner with main focus on telecommunication systems. From 1992 until 2014 he worked at World Patent Technology AB with assessment of patentability and analysis of technical documentation from an innovation perspective. He is specialized in mobile telephony, home appliances and electronics in automotive systems.

Fredrik Magnusson studied vehicle engineering at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), specialising in aeronautics/fluid mechanics. From 2015 until 2017 Fredrik worked at the Swedish Patent and Registration Office, as patent examiner in the unit for transport and vehicle technology.

Máté has a bachelor’s degree in electric engineering from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, specializing in electrical power engineering, and a master’s degree in energy innovation from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and the Technical University of Eindhoven. He joined Uppdragshuset in 2018 as one of the first to take part in the company’s own internal trainee programme.

Karina graduated in technical physics and has a PhD in solid state physics at Uppsala University. Between 2011 and 2019 she worked as a patent attorney at Aros Patent AB, writing and prosecuting patent applications within various technical areas such as electronics, mechanics, telecommunications, electric power industry, paper and pulp industry etc.

Hans Eriksson holds a M.Sc. in electrical engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm. During the period 1997-2000 he was a patent examiner at the Swedish Patent Office, in the field of Power engineering. During the periods 2001-2006 and 2009-2019 he worked as a patent examiner at the European Patent Office, in the fields of lighting, telecommunication and electrical vehicles. Hans has also worked as a patent attorney at Bergenstråhle & Partners, 2006-2009, mainly in the fields of telecommunication and medical devices. Additionally to his work as information specialist Hans is responsible for customer relationsship and marketing in Germany.

Jonas Hasler studied energy engineering at Mälardalens Högskola and he joined Uppdragshuset in April 2021. Before joining Uppdragshuset Jonas held a number of different positions at ABB AB during the period 1991-2021. At ABB he held positions both as patent information specialist and as patent attorney at the internal Swedish patent department. His latest position at ABB was at Corporate Research where he worked as patent information specialist and intellectual property coordinator.

Bengt Jonsson graduated in electrical engineering from Lund Institute of Technology. After graduating, he worked at the Swedish Patent and Registration Office as a patent examiner with main focus on telecommunication systems 1986-1990 and 1994-1997. In between he spent four years as a patent examiner at the European Patent Office in Berlin. From 1997 until 2014 he worked at World Patent Technology AB with patentability and validity searches and analyses. He is specialized in mobile telephony, video processing and electronics. Bengt is an independent searcher sharing Uppdragshuset’s mindset of quality and customer care.

 

 

Preeti has a M.Sc. in computer science engineering from Banasthali Vidyapith Jaipur in India. She has several years of experience as an IP analyst for software and electronics technologies, both as a consultant and an in-house analyst. Preeti lives in Stuttgart and is a part of Uppdragshuset’s German team.

Alessandro Bosco graduated in material science and engineering at the University of Padova and has a PhD in physics and chemistry of biological systems from the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA), Trieste. He worked as scientific researcher in Italy and Spain, and until 2019 at Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm. Before joining Uppdragshuset in 2022, he worked as information engineer, writing technical documentation for life science products.

Carolina Franciscangelis graduated in electrical engineering at the University of Campinas, Brazil, and has a MSc and a PhD degree in optical fiber sensors from the same university. She worked as a researcher and project manager at the Research Institutes of Sweden, RISE AB, for over 4 years and as a project manager in the telecommunications field prior to joining Uppdragshuset Stockholm team.

Emil Bäcklund has a degree of Master of Science in Engineering Physics from Uppsala University. Between 2018 and 2023 he worked as a patent attorney at Zacco, writing and prosecuting patent applications within numerous technical fields e.g., mechanics and telecommunications. During the period 2013-2018 he was a patent examiner at the Swedish Patent Office (PRV), in the field of computer engineering.

Linhong Xiao has a Ph.D. in Materials Science from Chinese Academy of Sciences, specializing in polymers, nanomaterials, and nanotechnology. Before joining Uppdragshuset in 2024, Linhong has worked for over 6 years as a scientific researcher in the environmental science and toxicology field at Umeå University and Uppsala University, respectively.

Daniel Roast graduated from Södertörn University and the Royal Institute of Technology in IT, Media and Design. He went on to take a Masters degree in Media Technology and Interaction Design. Previous employment includes project manager at Svenska Kraftnät (the Swedish national grid) (2006-2007). Daniel is responsible for IT development, and works with programming and technology.
